TERMS AND CONDITIONS
MEMBERSHIP: Persons wishing to become members must complete a membership form. Annual membership attracts a discounted rate, therefore if you decide to terminate your membership you will not be entitled to a refund. WSASA can withdraw certain programs or facilities without notice.
MONTHLY MEMBERSHIPS: Persons wishing to pay monthly memberships by direct debit must pay 2 months up front on joining. Direct debits will be taken out of the members account at the agreed rate. A current direct debit must be in place at all times to keep the membership in operation. Direct debit prices, may increase and this will be displayed around the centre before implementation. We will also endeavour to contact you regarding the change.
STUDENT MEMBERHIPS:To obtain a student membership you must have confirmation on letter headed paper that you are currently studying at that particular School, University or College. Bactive have the right to contact where you are studying to confirm this is correct.
MEMBERSHIP CARDS:The membership cards remain the property of Bactive and are non-refundable or transferable. The membership card must only be used by the member it is registered too. Anyone found using a card that they are not registered too will not be allowed entry and the person who the membership is registered too could lose their membership also. If you lose your card a charge of £2 will be issued for a replacement.
CHANGE OF DETAILS: Bactive must be notified of any changes to your details, this includes change of bank details or address but also any medical changes that may harm you whilst undertaking physical activity.
CANCELLATION NOTICE:Members wishing to cancel their membership must contact Bactive to inform them of there cancellation. It is the members responsibility to cancel the direct debit with their bank. Bactive require a month’s cancellation period.
CLASSES AND USE OF EQUIPMENT: Members must not use any equipment unless they are satisfied that they are competent or have been shown how to do so safely and correctly. Bactive have the right to suspend or cancel membership if a member does not adhere to this. Classes can be pre - booked 7 days in advance and if you need to cancel a class then 1 hours notice, must be given or a charge of £1 may be submitted.
DIRECT DEBIT GUARANTEE: The guarantee is offered by all banks and building societies that accept instruction by direct debit. If there is any change to the amount, date or frequency of your direct we will notify you at least 10 days before your account is debited or we will also place notices around the centre with the new amounts. If an error is made on the amount taken then a full refund will be given. If we under charge your direct debit, then we will take the amount due on the next month.
